Meet Your Doula.
Aaliyah “Falayomi Sangopelumi” Boler is an educator, wife, mother and full-spectrum birth and postpartum doula. She specializes in prenatal education, labor support, natural pain management techniques, homebirth/hospital birth, placenta encapsulation, mother-centered postpartum care and breastfeeding support.
In 2018, Aaliyah attended her first doula training led by Midwife Nicole Deggins of Sista Midwife Productions. It was here that she reconnected to the plight of black midwives and birth workers in the South (known as Grand Midwives) and reclaimed her ancestral duty of childbirth.
In recent years, Aaliyah has also received training on Ethics of Birth and Reproductive Justice, Preeclampsia Management, Maternal and Infant Reiki (certified) and Advanced Doula Skills.
Aaliyah is a Virginia native and a Hampton University alumna. She is mother to a toddler son and designated Auntie to all of her “doula babies” around the world.
Currently, Aaliyah serves the Metro-Atlanta area and opens her schedule to travel once a year. She has attended births in Georgia, Texas, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and internationally in St. Maarten.
